Eniola Omoro Akintunde, Founder and Executive Director, Niola Cancer Care Foundation and the CEO/ Head Designer, Styles By Saennys a gemstone designing outfit based in Lagos, Nigeria is a social architect, enterprising goal getter with irresistible craving and passion for social responsibility.

In her Late 40’s, she is a native of Agbede Town, Etsako West, Edo State.and began her educational sojourn at Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School (OLASS),Yaba for her O’ Levels.

After her stint as an office assistant and later clerical assistant between 1995 and 2001 at the University of Lagos Medical Center, she was later offered admission as a student of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management at Unilag where she graduated in 2003.

With passionate commitment to the cause of cancers, Eniola together with her team has made tremendous impact within the shortest period of establishing Niola Cancer Care Foundation (NCCF), the first Non Governmental Organisation in West Africa committed to creating unmatched awareness for Colorectal Cancer while advocating for better cancer management. NCCF was founded after the death of her late husband Gbolahan Akintunde in 2013.


NCCF has been able to successfully organise two major annual events. IJOYA aimed at educating, enlightening,encouraging colorectal cancer screening, wellness, dance, exercise and showcasing Nigeria organic food produce. The Second event tagged ‘Spending Christmas Day with Cancer Warriors’ aimed at supporting and advocating care for cancer patients through show of love and gifts.

It was not surprising in 2017 When Niola Cancer Care Foundation became a full member and Partner of the Global Colon Cancer Association (GCCA) headquartered in the USA for its immense contributions towards ameliorating rate of death caused by colorectal cancers.

To commemorate 2019 World Cancer Day, NCCF Founder Eniola Akintunde Story ” THE JEWEL AGAINST CANCER” was approved and posted on World Cancer Day website.World Cancer Day is hosted by Union For Cancer Control (UICC) Geneva. https://www.worldcancerday.org/fr/histoire/eniola-nigeria

She presented an abstract titled ‘OVERCOMING CHALLENGES OF HOLISTIC CANCER CARE IN LOW RESOURCE SETTINGS’ at the World Congress in Malaysia in 2018.

As a gem that has carved a niche for enterprise, creativity and innovative business activities, she established Styles By Saennys and OKUTA OF IYEBIYE , an award winning gemstone designs outfit.

Founded over 17yrs ago, she design’s handcrafted jewellery’s using well polished and High grade precious and semi-precious gemstones Sourced around the world, As the first Nigerian designer to design handmade Christmas trees with beads. A former instructor for Lagos state Ministry for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) she has trained thousands in bead designing and basics on Gemstones identification. Eniola has represented and showcased her brand in different local and International exhibitions/fairs.
